YOUR TEAM
Leads, plans, and manages program(s) of projects on a strategic level for the area of Research and Development (R&D) and product development.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Disciplinary and technical management of the organizational unit "Infotainment Projects".
• Ensure delivery of the entire infotainment "stack" according to defined deadlines, quality and costs across release trains (E³ 1.1, E³ 1.2, MQB).
• Manage strategic program roadmaps across release trains, ensuring consistent communication and alignment with brands, delivery units, and executive stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain robust program governance, reporting frameworks, and KPI-driven control models that ensure transparency and delivery certainty.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between in-house engineering and external supplier teams/development partners.
• Understand, prioritize and quickly solve urgent delivery blocking issues (e.g. functional and stability: black screens, crashes or performance problems).
• Drive operational excellence and standardization in delivery management by continuous improvement in delivery methodologies, reporting standards, and program transparency.
• Drive the transition of the delivery model from a Tier1-based approach towards an inhouse SW development setup.

WHO YOU ARE

• University degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software platform and embedded in the field of infotainment with strong understanding of automotive development processes.
• Experience successfully launching Android based IVI solutions in production vehicles.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams to quickly solve complex delivery blocking issues while developing infotainment solutions for automotive OEMs.
• Demonstrated experience in leading problem solution teams for critical technical topics in infotainment projects such as system performance and stability or Android upgrades.
• Excellent program management, people management and organizational transformation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to communicate effectively with all parts of the organization including Delivery Units and Brands, on technical and executive levels.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English and German.
• High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and complex.
