(Senior) Testinfrastructure Engineer (HiL) - Vehicle Motion and Energy (m/f/d)

Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM

Our team within the T4-1 organization is responsible for the overall system test of the development scopes of the "Vehicle Motion and Energy" domain. We are a highly motivated team of various experts around the creation of an effective test field. We are responsible for developing and providing the test environment, in particular the Hardware-In-The-Loop (HiL) systems, the adaptation of the virtual vehicle models and automation solutions. We are constantly expanding and developing this test field according to the requirements of the software-functions to be tested.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Be responsible for the management, maintenance and further development of the test facility with currently 14 test benches
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners (e.g. IT department, area managers, development partner)
  • Commission new test bench configurations with simulation model, automation tooling and ECUs - Software
  • Troubleshoot and support test bench users in case of problems
  • Be responsible for tool development and coding for the further automation of test procedures and evaluations


WHO YOU ARE

  • Successful completed studies in the field of computer science, information technology, automotive engineering, or a comparable course of studies
  • Several years of professional experience in the support or use of hardware-in-the-loop test benches (preferably dSpace)
  • Preferable experience in Python & CI/CD tools like Github Actions or Exam
  • Experience in configuring ECUs with VW Group tools (e.g. ODIS)
  • Experience in the field of vehicle networking and its measurement (e.g. Ethernet, FleyRay, CANape, INCA, Wireshark)
  • Fluent German and English language skills
