We're uniting over 6,500 global experts to build a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, unified electronic architecture and reliable connection to the automotive cloud. Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM

You are working in the area of "Architecture & Technologies". At CARIAD we are the backbone of mobility and constitute the interface to vehicle mechatronics in the Volkswagen Group. Our organization spearheads the transformation from a traditional manufacturing company to a software-driven tech player. In doing so, we enable innovations from the vehicle to the off-board as the basis for future applications ranging from climate control to infotainment and autonomous driving. In your job, you will work in agile teams and contribute to the development of the next generation of E/E and software architecture. We are responsible for the consistent and efficient design and implementation of the architecture. In doing so, we directly empower the driving and user/customer experience in and around the car by reducing complexity and ensuring efficiency. We specify, develop, model, test, calibrate, evaluate and design innovative technology requirements that fascinate our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Steering of cross brand development task for OTA framework creation
Harmonization of common feature roadmaps to synchronize development activities of different teams
Maturity level tracking of planed OTA features and definition of counter measures if overall goals are not met
Coordination of bugfix and release cycles to ensure the product quality
Synchronization of team activities via agile team routines

WHO YOU ARE

Technical degree (for example computer sciences, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics) or similar qualification with job experience
Professional expertise ( ≥ 5 years of experience) in at least one of the areas software architecture, networking technologies, security, connected services, functional reliability and safety, diagnostic and project management
Quick comprehension of new information and ability to understand highly complex correlations and to bring them to an abstract level
Very good negotiation and communication skills, take into account the targets of all your project partners and lead them to optimal solutions from an overall project view
Excellent English skills, german communication skills are a plus
