YOUR TEAM
Within AI-Architecture, we are enabling the CARIAD ADAS Stack to be AI-driven. For this, we are responsible for the deployment, optimization and performance management of our AI models and guide the overall CAS development in its AI-development.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Definition and further development of a group-wide AI data strategy for real-world, synthetic, and simulation data.
• Responsibility for the end-to-end data architecture within the ADAS/AD stack, including quality, validation, and representativity guidelines.
• Function as the technical authority for AI data architecture: decisions on standards, governance, platforms, and technical guardrails.
• Strategic steering and alignment across multiple product lines and cross-functional expert teams.
• Representation of CARIAD in technical committees, publications, and professional conferences to advance the state of the art.

WHO YOU ARE

• Deep expertise in AI systems for perception, planning, and end-to-end models, as well as in hybrid data sources (real-world, synthetic, simulation).
• Many years of experience as a Principal / Senior Staff Engineer with organization-wide technical responsibility.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data-driven system development, including toolchains, data quality metrics, and safety‑critical validation.
• Strong architecture skills in building scalable ML/Data/Simulation platforms and experience with technical governance structures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, including executive‑level stakeholder management.
