YOUR TEAM
Within AI-Architecture, we are enabling the CARIAD ADAS Stack to be AI-driven. For this, we are responsible for the deployment, optimization and performance management of our AI models and guide the overall CAS development in its AI-development.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead the conceptualization and implementation of CARIAD's Methodology for the combined usage of real world, synthetic and simulated data for development and validation of AI within Automated Driving
• Elicitate requirements for simulation, synthetic data generation, labling and overall data requirements based on safety requirements and validation needs
• Act as the leading expert with respect to hybid data sources for AI towards all expert teams (definition of Metrics, data requirements, statistical justification, alignment of AI Model development and systems engineering)
• Drive the CAS-strategy for training and validation data in close cooperation with AI and safety experts
• Publish concept papers and steer the CAS development towards a cost-aware and efficient data approaches combining real world, synthetic and simulated data
• Contribute to the academic state-of-the-art and disseminate the progress in to CARIAD's work on their way towards end2end AI

WHO YOU ARE

• You have a deep understanding of AI alogrithms that cover perception, behavior planning, situation understanding and planning
• You are deeply knowledgeable about exisiting data sets its challenges and advantages
• You are deeply knowledgeable about exisiting toolchains for creating automated driving AI training and validation data
• You are deeply knowledgeable about the overall ADAS ML development process and the respective data requirements in particular towards representativeness of validation data - especially for end2end-AI-approaches
• You bring solid experience in leading cross team activities in AI, software, and data-driven system development
• You are knowledgeable with respect to Automated driving validation, statistics and the relevance of synthetic data for AI Validation
• You are experienced in implementation of POCs for AI KPIs in order to evaluate of novel concepts
• You are a strong technical communicator and can drive company-wide projects and process implementations
• You are results-driven and experienced in managing a complex KPI landscape across technical, operational, and business metrics
