YOUR TEAM
To support our Radio & Media team, we are currently looking for a working student. In your role you get first-hand experience in Infotainment and will be an integral part of the team that works on connected Radio and Media functions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Ability to support the compilation and basic setup of Android‑based applications (e.g., Radio App) together with senior developers or external partners as part of Proof of Concept activities
- Willingness to assist in maintaining and updating software testbenches, including simple troubleshooting tasks
- Basic skills to help set up backend services (e.g., Connected Radio backend) in a controlled environment under guidance from the team
- Motivation to further develop and enhance existing Android applications (e.g., AndroidMedia Test App) by implementing smaller features or improvements
- Strong learning mindset, reliability and readiness to support experienced engineers in daily development tasks
- Support feature implementation and bug fixing in an agile Android development environment using GitHub, JIRA and Confluence
- Assist in creating technical concepts and documentation for Android Automotive OS applications and partner integrations
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled student in the area of Computer Science / Informatics, Software Engineering
- Basic knowledge of Android development (Kotlin/Java) and interest in applying these skills in an automotive environment
- Motivation to support tasks such as compiling applications, maintaining testbenches, setting up backend services and extending existing Android apps
- Curiosity, reliability and a strong willingness to learn from experienced engineers while contributing to team objectives
- Comfort working in an agile development setup and collaborating with internal teams as well as external partners
- Structured and independent way of working
- Fluent in English. Intermediate German skills would be ideal
NICE TO KNOW
- Remote work options within Germany
- Duration: 6 months (with the option to extend up to two years)
- 20 hours/week, up to 35 hours/week during the semester break
- Salary: 17,80€/hour
