Are you interested in renewable energy and motivated to develop your skills in a dynamic, international environment? Join the Installation & Marine Engineering department at RWE as a Working Student and help develop and deliver offshore wind projects.Within the Installation Optimization team, you will support the planning and cost estimation of new offshore wind projects, help enhance Transport & Installation (T&I) concepts, and collaborate with logistics and technical contracting experts.
This role offers valuable practical experience and unique insights into offshore wind construction and project operations.

About the role

  • Collaborating with stakeholders across various construction projects to collect and consolidate real-time project activity data from installation vessels
  • Acting as a key interface between internal project teams and external service providers to ensure a smooth and efficient Daily Progress Reporting (DPR) process
  • Analyzing DPR data to support effective claim management and ensure transparency for all project stakeholders
  • Coordinating, standardizing, and continuously improving DPR processes across the organization while contributing innovative ideas and best practices
  • Creating engaging presentations, training materials, and communication content to support knowledge sharing among onshore and offshore teams
  • Developing and maintaining organizational tools and digital solutions, including Excel-based systems, SharePoint platforms, and other collaboration tools that support efficient project execution

Job requirements and experience

  • Currently enrolled in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (minimum 3rd semester)
  • Solid analytical and structured approach to problem-solving
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in an international environment
  • High level of initiative, attention to detail, and consistency
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is beneficial
  • Interest in digital tools and data analysis (e.g., Power BI); experience in offshore wind or construction is beneficial but not mandatory
