We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Lead in one of our locations in Verl, Baden-Baden, Berlin, Germany to guide our Microsoft Dynamics team. In this role, you’ll combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder management to shape and evolve our Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem — including standard modules and customized solutions.
You will drive the team’s technical excellence, ensure system stability, and advance innovation through the integration of Power Platform and AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, mentor, and empower the Microsoft Dynamics engineering team (8 members).
- Ensure high delivery quality, transparency, and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
- Manage priorities, resources, and development roadmaps for Dynamics and Power Platform solutions.
- Technical Ownership
- Oversee and continuously improve the Dynamics 365 Sales & Marketing modules.
- Drive the technical evolution of our contract database, supplier onboarding process, and app inventory built on Dynamics and Power Platform.
- Guarantee the stability, performance, and scalability of the Dynamics system and related integrations.
- Manage system configuration, data model governance, and integration with other business platforms.
- Innovation & AI Enablement
- Lead the integration of AI and Copilot capabilities within Dynamics and Power Platform.
- Promote AI readiness through knowledge transfer, experimentation, and process automation.
- Maintain close collaboration with Microsoft to adopt new product features early.
- Stakeholder & Project Management
- Serve as the main interface for Sales, Marketing, and Operations stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into robust, scalable CRM and Power Platform solutions.
- Ensure transparency on progress, risks, and prioritization decisions through clear communication and reporting.
- Process & Quality
- Establish and enforce best practices for development, testing, and deployment.
- Implement efficient change and release management processes.
- Foster continuous improvement, innovation, and documentation standards across the CRM landscape.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Proven expertise in the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of system architecture, API integrations, and Azure-based deployment.
- Experience integrating AI or Copilot features into Dynamics or Power Platform environments.
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record in leading software engineering teams or large CRM projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication across business and IT.
- Agile mindset and experience with DevOps and CI/CD principles.
- Microsoft certifications (Dynamics 365 / Power Platform) are a plus.
- Fluent in English.
- Able to travel within Germany and internationally.
- Self-motivated and high drive to work in dynamic international setting.
