Business Development Professional (f/m/d)

As a Business Development Professional (f/m/d) for our Low-Voltage Power distribution Portfolio, you'll shape our global growth by unlocking new markets, analyzing cutting-edge trends, and driving strategic projects worldwide for our low-voltage Switchgear Portfolio. Are you ready to transform insights into impact and take your expertise to the international stage?

You'll make an impact by:

• You develop and implement long-term strategic plans by conducting in-depth market analyses, identifying new business opportunities, and preparing actionable recommendations to drive growth in targeted industries
• Building on your expertise, you coordinate cross-functional projects and facilitate collaboration between internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and successful execution of initiatives
• You conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analyses, utilizing your technical knowledge to inform the development of innovative business models and go-to-market strategies
• Furthermore, you analyze key business areas and evaluate potential for Siemens products in emerging markets, new sales channels, or customer segments, ensuring optimal product positioning
• In addition, you communicate relevant PLM topics between sales teams and regional partners, supporting regional product promotion by providing valuable market intelligence and technical insights

This is how you'll win us over

• Education
  • You have a Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• Experience & Skills
  • Several years of experience in technical consulting, preferably within the electrical industry
  • Proficiency with Siemens TIA selection and Control Panel Design for managing industrial control panels
  • Strong knowledge in power distribution, including cyber security, sustainability, energy efficiency, and power monitoring within industrial control systems
• Ways of working
  • You are a passionate problem-solver and strategic thinker, thriving in collaborative environments and committed to continuous learning
  • This role can be based in one of our major locations (Amberg, Berlin, Erlangen, Nürnberg, Regensburg)
  • You are willing to travel internationally (10%)
• Languages
  • Fluent English and proficient German skills are required; additional languages are an advantage
