Join Siemens Energy and play a pivotal role in supporting our Global Sales organization as you develop business opportunities for innovative applications of insulators and surge arresters in overhead line systems. Imagine expanding our market presence by identifying new customers and initiating homologation processes to qualify our products for international markets. You will promote our solutions and technical expertise while assessing market capacities and needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical and commercial accuracy throughout the offer and order process, making a significant impact on our growth and success.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop tailored technical solutions for overhead line products based on customer specifications using a powerful configuration tool, in close collaboration with technical departments, while serving as the primary point of contact for international technical clarifications and support requests
  • Collaborate with sales organizations, engineering teams, R&D, factory planning, and quality management to ensure and continuously improve customer satisfaction
  • Engage with end users, resellers, and agents to address market needs, conduct contract negotiations, and organize visits, presentations, training sessions, qualification processes, and FATs
  • Identify and cultivate new customers, initiate business development activities, and expand market penetration in key regions
  • Initiate, manage, and drive homologation processes with customers and utilities to secure product qualification and market entry
  • Develop, align, and implement growth plans and market development strategies while driving innovation by challenging established approaches and identifying new solutions


What You Bring

  • Degree in electrical engineering or a related field, with a strong technical understanding of high voltage products and at least 3 years of experience in Technical Sales, R&D, or PLM within the energy industry
  • Goal-driven team player with a proactive mindset, a passion for continuous improvement, and excellent communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels
  • Fluency in English is required; German is highly welcome, and additional languages are a plus
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with proficient knowledge of MS Office and SAP; experience with CAD programs is a plus
  • Willingness and interest in international business travel
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
