BI Specialist / Reporting & Dashboard Administrator (m/f/x)

As a BI Specialist / Reporting & Dashboard Administrator, at our site in Mörfelden-Walldorf you turn operational data into clarity – every single day. By maintaining and delivering standardized reporting solutions that are used daily in operational decision-making, you ensure that operational teams have continuous access to transparent, reliable performance insights.

Your Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, warehouse, and operational teams to ensure defined KPIs are consistently available, clearly structured, and easy to understand
• Requirements Translation: Translate operational and business requirements into standardized reports, KPIs, and visualizations used in daily operations
• Reporting & Power BI Development: Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance BI dashboards and recurring reports in Power BI, including data preparation, validation, measures, filters, visuals, and basic data modeling using existing data sources and platforms, in line with established standards
• Data Quality & Performance Monitoring: Ensure accuracy, consistency, transparency, and documentation of data by performing regular reporting, ad‑hoc analyses, and KPI monitoring to support day‑to‑day operational decision‑making
• User Support & Enablement: Support operational users with report usage, adjustments, and troubleshooting in their daily work with data
• Issue Resolution & Coordination: Identify data inconsistencies and coordinate clarifications or fixes with data, IT, or platform teams

Your Profile

• Educational Background: Completed vocational training, further qualification, dual study program, or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Data Analytics, or a comparable field
• BI & Reporting Experience: Practical experience working with BI tools, ideally Power BI, covering report creation, dashboards, visuals, and basic data models 
• SQL & Data Skills: Basic to solid SQL knowledge for data extraction, validation, and plausibility checks 
• Operational Business Understanding: Understanding of logistics, warehouse, or supply chain KPIs and operational reporting requirements 
• Working Style & Collaboration: Structured, detail‑oriented, and reliable working style with the ability to work independently, take ownership and communicate clearly and cooperatively in English with operational, data, and IT stakeholders.
• Data Platform & Standards Awareness: Experience with predefined data platforms or data warehouses, as well as an understanding of reporting standards, documentation, or data governance practices
