What do you contribute?

Your new role will take you into the engineering of our ultra-modern and environmentally friendly locomotives. In our "Corporate Infrastructure" group, we develop tools and simulations and provide the laboratory infrastructure for the various software trades. In addition, our software configuration managers (f/m/d), test managers (f/m/d) and testers (f/m/d) ensure efficient project processing.

  • In your new role in vehicle control software, you will be responsible for creating test specifications and guidelines with the support of an experienced team.
  • You will define how test specifications are created and formulate concrete instructions for test execution.
  • In coordination with the software project managers (f/m/d) and testers (f/m/d), you will define how the tests are to be carried out.
  • You plan the requirements of the laboratory test stands and vehicles and coordinate these with the Technical Managers (f/m/d).
  • You will also plan all test activities in the laboratory environment and on the vehicle and proactively obtain the status of the test activities on a regular basis.


What do you bring along?

  • The basis of your success is a bachelor's degree in a technical subject (e.g. electrical engineering, computer science or mechatronics).
  • You will also have several years of professional experience in software testing and ISTQB certification.
  • You have knowledge of standards, processes, and the project workflow in the field of rail vehicles, ideally already in the field of control technology.
  • You also have basic knowledge of a programming language and ideally in Polarion.
  • You have a very good command of German and English to communicate confidently both in a national and international project environment.
