Job Description:

In order to support our Technical Data team, Airbus is looking for a

Technical Data Project Manager Electrical System Installation - ESI (d/f/m)

You will be part of a transnational team within Customer Services in Hamburg/Germany.

In this position, you are involved in supporting airlines and operators, making a tangible impact on the end-to-end production chain.

You will be in charge of defining digital solutions that allow us to deliver and support aircraft maintenance documentation with a strong customer focus.

You will have the unique opportunity to work on exciting digitalization projects-such as the Next Generation Electrical Wiring Interconnection System initiative -and shape our common future.

Furthermore, you will collaborate closely within a large, diverse transnational network based in Germany, France, and India.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Act as the central wiring data focal point for Electrical System Installation (ESI) , establishing efficient communication channels across engineering teams, suppliers, design offices, and airlines.
  • Standardize and harmonize transnational ways of working across interfaces to ensure seamless information flow.
  • Drive continuous improvement and lead innovative digital projects to optimize ESI services, authoring tasks, and documentation processes.
  • Advance the deployment of modern digital design and manufacturing principles within the technical data domain.
  • Ensure aircraft safety and high customer satisfaction for the in-service fleet by providing timely, accurate, and digitally accessible technical data.



Desired skills and qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or Electro-technics.
  • Several years of professional experience in Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) Architecture.
  • Proven track record in Project Management , utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to network effectively in a transnational environment.
  • Negotiation level in English ; advanced or intermediate proficiency in German is a distinct advantage.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business travel worldwide.
