The Position
Shape the field of pulmonary fibrosis and rare rheumatology conditions - as (Senior) Clinical Program Lead in Pumonology / Rheumatology
To expand our leadership position in the field and ensure filling remaining evidence gaps that address the needs of patients beyond our successfully launched brand Jascayd, we are looking for a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the indications. Tasks & responsibilities
- Design and prepare clinical development plans, focusing on Phase III to IV in pulmonology or rheumatology indications in close collaboration with the Clinical Development Lead.
- Guide cross-functional teams, including experts from clinical trial operations, biostatistics, biomarkers, and patient safety, to ensure high-quality execution as the clinical program lead.
- Oversee the setup, conduct, and data readout of clinical trials in collaboration with the Clinical Trial Lead and Evidence Team, ensuring timelines, quality, and ethical standards are met.
- Provide input to regulatory strategy and clinical components of briefing documents, presentations, and responses to questions.
- Contribute to the Evidence Team strategy and deliverables, including key documents such as the Clinical Development Plan, Integrated Evidence Plan, in collaboration with Medical Affairs and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Leverage your clinical, scientific and indication expertise to evaluate external opportunities and support decisions that strengthen the pipeline.
Additional tasks for the Senior Role:
- Superviseand mentor other Clinical Program Leads and Clinical Trial Leads within the assigned program/asset.
Requirements
- MD or PhD degree with several years of clinical or research and scientific experience in pulmonology or rheumatology
- Few years of experience in clinical drug development within the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience in academic clinical research
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups
- Skilled in presenting scientific content and facilitating cross-functional discussions
- High level of initiative, strategic thinking, and team orientation
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Additional requirements for the Senior Role:
- MD/PhD degree with long-standing clinical and scientific experience in the indication
- Several years of experience in clinical drug development within the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience in academic clinical research
- Strong Leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
