YOUR TEAM

You are working in the area of "Architecture & Technologies". At CARIAD we are the backbone of mobility and constitute the interface to vehicle mechatronics in the Volkswagen Group. Our organization spearheads the transformation from a traditional manufacturing company to a software-driven tech player. This way we enable innovations from the vehicle to the off-board as the basis for future applications ranging from climate control to infotainment and autonomous driving. In your job, you will work in agile teams and contribute to the development of the next generation of E/E and software architecture. We are responsible for the consistent and efficient design and implementation of the architecture. In doing so, we directly empower the driving and user/customer experience in and around the car by reducing complexity and ensuring efficiency. We specify, develop, model, test, calibrate, evaluate and design innovative technology requirements that fascinate our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Monitoring of API requirements and defining interfaces for the whole EE architecture, especially for cross-functions such as network technologies, diagnostics and security
• Analyzing influences on standardized processing like AUTOSAR-compatibility, changes in ComStack etc.
• Moderating discussions with stakeholders in order to define the desired technical representation
• Developing road maps to move requirements from the concept to the implementation phase in our API as developing prototypes, evaluating automation potential, testing the concepts with regard to ComStack and different configurations as well as different AUTOSAR stacks and code generators, defining requirements for launch in our productive environment, monitoring and maintenance
• Creating training material for new concepts and defining training measures for other team members

WHO YOU ARE

• University degree in an electronics or IT discipline (or comparable)
• Programming knowledge as well as advanced Jira and Microsoft Office Excel knowledge
• Knowledge of serial bus systems, AUTOSAR, E/E vehicle architectures
• Knowledge of network technologies like Ethernet, IP Protocol, Transport Protocol, CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, higher level protocols (ViWi, SomeIP, BAP)
• Knowledge of different AUTOSAR stacks and code generators
• Excellent analytical and conceptional abilities
• Fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus
