As Financial Controller for the Offshore Operations business in Germany you are responsible to coordinate the Controlling activities for several offshore wind farms.
About the role
- Operational planning and reporting, and the mid-term planning for several offshore wind farms.
- Monitor financial and operational KPI's on a monthly basis
- Advise site managers in order to improve financial performance and value for the assets
- Manage, develop and coordinate reporting and planning processes for the business area
- Undertake project work in order to standardize and develop reporting practices for the new combined business
- Liaise with internal counterparties within the RWE group (Accounting,Tax, Central Controlling etc) and external stakeholders in our assets
- Act as financial business partner for Offshore management in order to identify innovative solutions and safeguard successful development of the business
Job requirements and experience
- Completed university studies in Business Administration, Finance or Controlling or similar experience
- Several years of professional experience in controlling issues as well as very good knowledge of the value drivers in Offshore Wind
- Advanced umerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish and develop effective working relationships both within the Controlling team and the wider business
- High level of self-organisation, personal engagement, energy and flexibility
- Familiarity with SAP/MS Office
- Fluent in English and German
- Ability to work effectively across different countries and cultures
