Projektmanager Order Implementation (f/m/d)
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Projektmanager Order Implementation (f/m/d), you will be responsible for leading projects in the new manufacturing and service of generators, generator components, and other electrical machines for both internal and external industrial business. You will act as the central point of contact for customers throughout the entire order fulfillment process, ensuring a smooth and successful project execution from design to delivery.
Your key responsibilities include the independent coordination of customer requirements, aligning interfaces, deadlines, and delivery scopes with internal technical departments. This involves monitoring project milestones, controlling progress, identifying technical challenges, and actively supporting the development of solutions to meet project goals on time and within budget. In this role, you will also build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, manage factory acceptance tests, and organize customer visits to ensure high satisfaction. Furthermore, you will contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for product and process optimization, supporting the initiation of these measures, and documenting lessons learned.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Function as the central point of contact for customers throughout the entire order fulfillment process, including design, manufacturing, testing, and shipping
- Independently coordinate and address customer concerns and requirements as well as oversee and manage factory acceptance tests and organize customer site visits
- Coordinate interfaces, deadlines, and delivery scopes with internal technical departments to ensure a seamless project flow as well as control project milestones, monitor overall project progress, and report on status
- Identify technical challenges and collaborate with relevant teams to support solution-finding
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration
- Support the initiation of optimization measures and document lessons learned for future projects
What You Bring
- Completed university degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification, alternatively, completed vocational training with further education and several years of professional experience in a similar field
- Initial experience in project management, order processing, or a customer-facing environment as well as initial experience in the areas of power converter technology (HVDC and FACTS), high-voltage technology, digital simulation technology and as control and automation technology
- Proficient use of MS Office applications, Knowledge of SAP R/3 modules SD and MM is desirable
- Strong communication skills, customer orientation, analytical thinking, assertiveness and conflict management
- Very good command of German (written and spoken) as well as very good command of English (written and spoken)
