A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Manager (f/m/d) for Global Procurement Projects at Siemens Energy, you will play a key role in supporting strategic procurement initiatives and implementing innovative tools and processes across our global locations. You will contribute to enhancing procurement efficiency, driving our mission, and delivering exceptional value to our customers while collaborating with diverse teams and departments.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Leadership and support of global strategic procurement projects from concept to implementation across international locations
  • Rollout and adoption of procurement tools and processes, ensuring alignment with best practices
  • Coordination of cross-functional procurement initiatives and collaboration with IT, Engineering, and Production
  • Monitoring and reporting of project progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
  • Contribution to procurement strategies including cost management, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigation
  • Analysis and optimization of procurement processes, including market research and data analysis to support sourcing decisions and supplier performance


What You Bring

  • Master's degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business informatics, or business administration
  • Several years professional experience in operational or strategic procurement, ideally in a multinational environment
  • Strong project and process management skills, including process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with contract management, SAP applications, and procurement software
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills as well as professional communication skills in English, German language skills are an advantage
