To start as soon as possible, full time, permanent

As Production Manager SOV you will be responsible for the safe, economical and uninterrupted operation as well as continuous optimization at the wind farm Nordseecluster (104 x 15 MW WTGs).

You will work in a 14/14 day shift pattern with a back to back from the opposite shift. Port location will be Eemshaven/NL.

About the role

  • Management of the operations staff at SOV as well as coordination of the external service providers in the day to day business offshore.
  • Responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of the operations strategy of the cluster in accordance with the overall strategy of the RWE Offshore Fleet.
  • Management of the daily operations at sea to meet operational targets.
  • Ensure "Zero Incident Policy" as well as compliance with internal HSE guidelines.
  • Responsible for the implementation of (work safety) technical improvement measures within the wind farm cluster, taking into account the urgency and available resources as well as the continuous optimization of offshore related operational processes and procedures
  • Efficient shift planning taking into account seasonal offshore demand
  • Proactive support and co-determination in the area of contract management in close cooperation with the O&M Manager
  • Ensuring a smooth interaction of the different shifts as well as continuous optimization of shift handovers

Job requirements and experience

  • Completed engineering studies (civil, electrical or mechanical engineering) or comparable trainings and experience s
  • Strong experience in relevant areas of the energy industry
  • Extensive knowledge of the organization and operation of offshore wind farms
  • Outstanding organizational and planning skills to ensure effective operations and execute continuous improvement initiatives as a basis for successful implementation of strategic goals.
  • In-depth experience in managing staff across multiple levels
  • Extensive knowledge in technical and commercial management of power plants as well as offshore specific topics
  • Strong focus on occupational safety and implementation of occupational safety and environmental standards
