Pixel Manager, Channel Sales and Activations (Fixed-Term Contract) (German)
This is a Fixed-Term Contract for 12 months, with a very high likelihood of a further 12 month extension.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in client-facing roles involving sales strategy and negotiation.
- Experience with project management.
- Experience with vendor management.
- Ability to communicate in German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the space of Telesales and sales agents management.
- Experience in business and operations in carrier, retail or consumer electronics industries.
- Ability to operate in a fluid and collaborative environment.
- Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.

About the job
As a Pixel Manager, you will drive Google’s devices sales programmes across major business partners in Germany. This includes working with German carrier partners on a set of programmes (i.e., training, advocacy, incentives) to drive business of Google Pixel and ecosystem in their channels. You will be responsible for the execution of new product introductions, making sure that all relevant touch-points of the partners meet the brand standard. You are responsible to advocate on behalf of the partners to cross-functional teams internally to drive business based initiatives and improvements to the partner experience of Google Pixel and ecosystem. Under the guidance of the DACH Channel Sales and Activations (CSA) regional lead, you will drive Google’s Devices Sales programmes across major sales partners in Germany. This includes working closely with Germany Carrier partners on a set of business activation programmes (i.e., training, advocacy, incentives) to drive business of Google Pixel and Ecosystem in their channels (Retail and Telesales, B2B). You will be responsible for the execution of new product introductions, making sure that all relevant touch points of our partners meet the brand standard. You will conceptually work on a x-partner Telesales channel strategy and foster partnerships to key Telesales agencies to unlock business for Google Pixel.The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
Responsibilities
- Understand carrier landscape and partner set-up, contribute to unlocking new business opportunities via identifying and activating the right partner channels or partner stores.
- Create and manage a dedicated Telesales strategy including tailor made incentive programmes, dedicated training programmes and partner management for key call-center sites.
- Support carrier partners who range Google hardware products via partner sales staff training, incentive management and store merchandising, working with assigned marketing managers on account level to jointly develop the partner growth.
- Support the implementation of new product introductions (Pixel phones, Pixel wearables/hearables and other ecosystem-products) making sure that operational goals are met.
- Work with third-party vendors that provide Google Field Sales team and field support. Coordinate third-party vendors and their resources to deliver upon Service Level Agreement (SLA) and terms of the agreements.
