In order to support the Engineering department Airbus Helicopters is looking for a

Data Governance Responsible (d/f/m)

You will join a dynamic and exciting engineering department with teams managing:

  • Export Control & National Security
  • Data Leadership & Quality



Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Ensure monitoring and data cleaning of key business objects or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) attributes
  • Understand impacts and identify master value of engineering PLM attributes/metadata
  • Continuous improvement of related engineering processes linked to data quality/management
  • Independent execution of in-depth process analyses, as well as deriving and driving targeted optimization measures
  • Playing a key role in the strategic development to identify and establish Data Quality Rules
  • Creative problem-solving: Taking an active role in the team by contributing innovative ideas and demonstrating a strong passion for experimentation



Desired skills and qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree (Bachelor's or Master's), ideally in Engineering, complemented by relevant specialized and additional qualifications
  • Practical experience in a Design Office, alongside solid knowledge of the engineering environment and data management
  • In-depth expertise in technical PLM systems and Engineering Data.
  • Confident handling of Data Quality & Governance Frameworks (especially PPS and Master Data Management), as well as experience in Business Process Mapping.
  • Experience as a Key User for SAP and PLM release processes
  • Strong sense of responsibility, professional composure, and excellent teamwork skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of German and/or French is a distinct advantage
