A Snapshot of Your Day
As a EHS Manager (f/m/d), you'll shape a global safety culture across eight factories, drive carbon-neutrality initiatives, and lead projects from CO₂ and SF₆ reduction to ISO 14001/45001 compliance and HOP integration. Your work safeguards our teams, promotes Siemens Energy's sustainability objectives, and excels in a collaborative, transparent, and environment passionate about progress.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Strong focus on implementing a Zero Harm culture across all switchgear factories through proactive safety, open incident reporting, and empowering employees to take responsibility for their safety
  • Creation and execution of targeted health and safety campaigns to raise awareness, educate on best practices, and promote employee engagement in safety
  • Support for GT switchgear factories by translating EHS requirements into clear, practical actions for the shop floor to ensure compliance with all standards
  • Improvement of the safety culture at the workplace by applying HOP, SCL, and BBS principles, as well as close collaboration with supervisors and teams to embed safe behaviors and minimize risks
  • Partnership with operations and the carbon neutrality team to implement CO₂ and SF₆ reduction measures, ensuring that improvements are fully executed and sustainable
  • Regular Gemba walks, practical EHS training, and support for incident investigations to ensure compliance, close gaps, and promote the exchange of experiences and best practices


What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a technical background (engineering, industrial engineering, environmental engineering, or comparable qualification) and several years of EHS experience in manufacturing or related industries, ideally in the product business of Grid Technologies
  • Proven practical experience in leading Zero Harm programs in manufacturing facilities, utilizing a hands-on approach and effective leadership skills to foster a culture of change
  • Experience in fast-growing companies and dynamic environments, with strong resilience, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across different cultures
  • Knowledge in promoting safety culture, implementing safety leadership, and the principles of human and organizational performance as well as behavior-based safety throughout the organization
  • Expertise in high-risk activities such as cranes & lifting, machine guarding, torque tools, energy isolation & lockout/tagout, as well as experience in conducting workshops, assessments, coaching, and incident investigations
  • Good written English skills, openness to intercultural collaboration, and willingness to travel; additional language skills (German, Portuguese, or Spanish) and certifications in occupational safety are advantageous. Result orientation and personal initiative are your priorities, and you are a team player in implementing high standards
