Within the department Economics, Sustainability, and Public Affairs, the Economics team supports the Board of Management in strategic decisions and offers group-wide services. The team elaborates positions on relevant topics and trends from the areas economics, politics, and society and analyses insurance market data.

Your Job

  • Support the team in economic analyses, including research, project work, and publications
  • Support the team in insurance market analyses (gather, analyse, and visualise insurance market data, forecast premium growth, etc.)
  • Own project: Research your own topic from various areas of interest, such as macroeconomics, economic policy or insurance markets

Your Profile

  • Student in economics or a related field like econometrics (not business administration), preferably at Master's level. Solid understanding of macroeconomics and economic policy is required
  • Foundational statistical knowledge is a prerequisite, R, Python or Power BI skills are a plus
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel® and PowerPoint®, is expected
  • Fluent in German and English

Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
