Beiersdorf sucht eine:n Werkstudent:in für Forschung und Entwicklung. Du arbeitest im Bereich medizinische Bildgebung und Datenanalyse. Du brauchst Erfahrung in Python und Interesse an Bildverarbeitung. Wichtig sind Zuverlässigkeit und gute Englischkenntnisse. Du solltest ein:e eingeschriebene:r Student:in in einem technischen Fach sein.

Your Tasks

In Research & Development, we are continuously exploring new and better solutions for our consumers. A key part of this mission is expanding our understanding of human skin. Within the Future Imaging laboratory, we develop and apply innovative, non-invasive imaging technologies and data-driven analysis methods to support cutting-edge cosmetic research.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated Working Student who is interested in medical imaging, computer vision and data-driven research, and who would like to gain hands-on experience in an industrial R&D environment. You will support ongoing research and development activities, in particular in the areas of data handling and computational image analysis:

  • Support data management tasks for imaging and measurement data (e.g. structuring, documentation, basic quality checks)
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of small Python scripts to support computer vision and data analysis workflows
  • Contribute to image processing and analysis tasks (e.g. preprocessing, feature extraction, visualization)
  • Support the team in evaluating and organizing experimental data from imaging systems
  • Collaborate closely with research scientists in an interdisciplinary environment

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled student in Medical Imaging, Computer Vision, Bioinformatics, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a comparable technical/scientific field
  • Interest in data analysis, image processing and computational methods
  • Basic experience with Python programming (e.g. through university courses or personal projects) or strong motivation to learn
  • First exposure to topics such as computer vision, image processing or data science is a plus
  • Structured and reliable working style, with curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills in English (German is a plus, but not mandatory)
