In order to support Airbus Commercial, Airbus is looking for a

Vulnerability Management Analyst (d/f/m) Cyber Security

to join our Risk, Vulnerability & Critical Asset Team. Are you interested in working with leading experts to protect Airbus against an ever-evolving cyber threat? Our department ensures that business risk requirements are communicated effectively to cyber security functions while monitoring vulnerabilities and translating technical details into clear dashboards for executive reporting. Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining vulnerability management platforms to safeguard the infrastructure.
  • Collating, coordinating and tracking vulnerabilities in a centralised platform closely linked to security risk.
  • Adding context to the vulnerability analysis by aggregating threat intelligence from internal and external sources.
  • Streamlining the various vulnerability management processes to increase efficiency.
  • Supporting the Security Governance Department with vulnerability remediation follow-ups.
  • Monitoring risks continuously and escalating major threats to the Security Governance Department.
  • Being involved in the governance of vulnerability management.



This role will involve some travel for business (once to twice a quarter) in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Educated to degree level (Master's degree or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Solid experience in the vulnerability management field and data scientist
  • Proven experience working within industrial IT and operational technology environments.
  • Technical knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Strong ability to identify and solve problems independently.
  • Excellent negotiation, collaboration and communication skills in an international context.
  • Language Skills: English at negotiation level; German language skills are a plus.
