Service Bulletin Engineer (d/m/w)

Innerhalb des technischen Supports ist die Abteilung „ESESG - SB LIGHT TWINS & GOV “ verantwortlich für die Erstellung und Herausgabe von Service Bulletins (SB). Die Erstellung geschieht in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Entwicklung, Experten aus dem Bereich Support & Services, Training, Zulassung und andern Fachbereichen der Firma.

Deine Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

• Definition von Priorität, Gültigkeit, Struktur, Detailniveau und Auswirkungen auf andere Publikationen (z.B. Flughandbuch, Wartungshandbuch und Teilekatalog). 

• Vertretung der Abteilung ESESG in verschiedenen technischen Besprechungen (wie z.B. Change Boards, MITB, Reading Sessions)

• Beschaffung und Analyse von Quelldaten

• Überwachen und Unterstützung von Unterauftragnehmern 

• Erstellung von Texten im SGML/XML Format 

•  Spezifikation von Illustrationen & Abbildung 

• Kompilierung von Texten und Illustrationen & Abbildungen nach S1000D Standard 

• Steuerung des internen Prüfumlaufs, inklusive Einarbeitung von Kommentaren 

• Auswertung von Kundenkommentaren 

• Überarbeitung der Service Bulletins (nach Bedarf)

Auf Grund der Aufteilung der Verantwortlichkeiten bei den verschiedenen Helikopterprogrammen, geschieht die Arbeit in enger Zusammenarbeit mit AH, AHE und anderer Partnerfirmen. 

Erforderliche Kenntnisse und Qualifikationen

• Master- oder Bachelorabschluss in der Luftfahrttechnik, oder vergleichbarer Studiengang mit entsprechender Berufserfahrung 

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Bereich der Hubschrauberwartung oder -produktion ist wünschenswert

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Erstellung technischer Dokumentationen (bevorzugt im Bereich der Luftfahrt)

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung im internationalem Projektmanagement 

• Gute Kenntnisse der luftfahrttechnischen Regelungen bezogen auf technische Dokumentation wären von Vorteil

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Umgang mit Kunden 

• Gute ILS Kenntnisse wären von Vorteil

• Ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit aber auch selbständige Arbeitsweise und Belastbarkeit 

• Erfahrung mit S1000D Standard wäre von Vorteil

• Kenntnisse von SGML/XML und Datenbanken 

• Verhandlungssichere Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse

• Französischkenntnisse sind von Vorteil

Service Bulletin Engineer (d/f/m)

Within technical support, the “ESESG - SB LIGHT TWINS & GOV” department is responsible for the preparation and release of Service Bulletins (SB). The preparation is performed in close cooperation with development, experts from the support & services area, training, certification and other disciplines within the company.

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Definition of priority, applicability, scope, structure, level of detail, impact on other publications (e.g. flight manual, maintenance manuals and parts catalogue).

• Representation of ESESG in different technical meetings (e.g. Change Boards, MITB, Reading sessions)

• Acquisition and analysis of source data

• Monitoring and support of subcontractors

• Production of text in SGML/XML format

• Specification of illustrations

• Compilation of texts and illustrations according to S1000D standard

• Guidance of the internal verification and approval process, including incorporation of comments

• Evaluation of customer comments

• Update of the service bulletin as necessary

• Lead specific transnational projects

• Technical Offer support/assistance to ESR 

Due to the industrial sharing of the different helicopter programs, this work is performed in close collaboration with AH, AHE and other partner companies.

Desired skills and qualifications

• Master's/Bachelor's Degree in aeronautical engineering or comparable study program with corresponding professional experience

• Several years of experience in creating technical documentation (preferable in the field of aviation)

• Several years of experience in dealing with customers

• Good knowledge of SGML / XML and databases

• Pronounced ability to work in a team but also independent way of working and resilience

• Several years of experience in helicopter maintenance or production is preferable

• Good ILS knowledge is nice to have

• Experience with S1000D standard and would be a plus

• Good knowledge of aviation regulations related to technical documentation would be a plus

• English and German skills: business fluent

• French would be a plus
