Omnivise T3000 is one of the leading control systems in the energy market. As Siemens Energy own control system it plays an important role in the global energy transition. Product Management (PM) is the function responsible for defining desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable solutions that meet customer needs and supporting development across the product life cycle. Your main tasks as PM T3000 Communication within the control system Omnivise T3000 in a multinational team, is being responsible for Omnivise T3000 with the ability to design the control system that will support the energy transition by exploring and gathering qualitative and quantitative insights about market dynamics, user preferences and customer requirements. These insights define both business strategy and technical strategy and produce the feature backlog.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Product Manager within the control system Omnivise T3000 in a multinational team, responsible for Edge systems & Cloud Connectivity with the ability to design the control system that will support the energy transition
• Represents the customer and stakeholder requirements and responsibility for the definition and delivery of a product's part, regarding requirement/outcome ranking, content generation, quality, in a given cost and time frame
• Coordination of multiple requirements by ranking and alignment of activities along the defined development process
• Creation of epics and / or user stories and alignment of priorities with multiple stakeholders
• Participates at the sprint planning and sprint review meetings as well as at team meetings
• Coordination across agile teams together with Product Managers and with Product Owners of the other teams
• Coordination of support from offshore development location

What You Bring

• University degree B. Eng. in information technology or electronic or comparable
• Understanding of the energy market and the related implications for control systems
• Deep understanding of modern control systems like Omnivise T3000 and Edge / Cloud technologies like Container, Broker, IoT protocols as well as related SaaS business models
• Strong understanding of the Product Lifecycle Management process incl. quality attributes (usability, security, safety, ...), as well as regulatory and legal aspects
• Good collaboration experience in international teams to work closely with the Scrum teams to clearly communicate the customer needs; helps and motivates the team to understand them by presenting and explaining the customer requirements
• Professional written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a benefit

About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
