Multi-Project Manager Control & Protection for AC Substation Offshore

As a Multi-Project Manager AC Substation Offshore, you will work very closely with our Project Execution & Tender Team for HVDC Grid Access projects as well as our supplier.

A Snapshot of Your Day
A customer is approaching us with another opportunity for connecting offshore wind farms. You evaluate with the tender team and our supplier the customer demand of Control & Protection of the AC substation and agree the key points for our tender. You consider current lessons learned from the execution projects. For an execution project you support the sub-project manager by evaluating an offer with support of the technical experts and help implementing the agreed solutions.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Collaborate with the Sub-Project Managers, Experts and suppliers
• Analyse of the customer specification with focus on the technical requirements on the hardware in view of the variations from our standard
• Be responsible for cost calculation, incl. identification of risks as well as preparation of necessary bidding documents
• Ensure quality of suppliers through e.g. design reviews, FATs
• Set-up and follow-up of Divisions of responsibilities (DoR)
• Be in charge of continuous risk and opportunity management, contract and claim management as well as resource management together with Sub Project Manager
• Ensure Lessons learned along the projects

What You Bring

• University degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in HVDC technology
• Good knowledge in hardware engineering for control & protection panels for high voltage substations or energy generation or transmission plants
• Ability to actively drive topics and resolve issues as well as solid stakeholder management and communication skills
• Basics in Project Management
• Fluency in spoken and written English and German
• Intercultural experience is ideal
