WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Join our team as a Junior Controller and help shape how the BASF Group allocates costs for centrally provided activities and services. We manage the frameworks for Cost Sharing Agreements (CSA) and Service Charging Agreements (SCA), ensuring that acitivities creating global or regional benefits are fairly and transparently charged across BASF companies. As part of our team, you will contribute to maintaining clear structures, supporting providers and recipients worldwide, and enabling efficient collaboration across the Group.
- In your role, you engage in management accounting activities to deliver strategic financial insights and support informed decision‑making.
- You collaborate closely with Operating Divisions and Corporate Taxes & Duties to ensure the correct and accurate allocation of costs across the organization.
- You take over the responsibility for documenting, explaining and supporting auditors to ensure compliance in the cost concepts.
- Besides that, you extract and prepare SAP Business Warehouse data, ensuring accuracy to provide reliable insights that lead to precise distribution key calculation and cost monitoring.
- Bring expertise to defined areas of competence, supporting internal and global projects identify process, report, and system enhancement opportunities, drive harmonization and automation.
- Last but not least, you learn the existing process in the SAP R/3 environment (Non-Trade Portal, BWs) and support the implementation of the process in the SAP S/4HANA environment (BTP, CCS, SAC, etc.).
WHAT YOU OFFER
- degree in Business Administration or Business Informatics with a focus on Accounting/Finance
- understanding of financial statements including profit and loss statements familiarity with analyzing the development of financial KPIs good communication skills in English appreciation of working in intercultural teams
- strong command of MS Office Excel is a must and experience in the SAP environment or Business Warehouse systems with high motivation, determination and goal-orientation
- fluent in English, German is a plus

- Gross annual salary (full-time): 40.000 - 46.000 €, depending on qualifications and professional experience. In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success as well as individual performance.
