Your tasks and responsibilities
- You will manually migrate existing unit tests from VectorCAST to the modern framework Unity/CMock.
- You will be responsible for executing and validating the migrated unit tests in our development environment.
- You will analyze the migrated tests and implement targeted improvements to increase test quality and efficiency.
- You will explore the use of AI agents to automatically create and implement new unit tests with Unity/CMock.
- At the end of your internship, you will create a detailed internship report summarizing your results and best practices.
Desired skills and qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of the C programming language (ideally in an embedded environment).
- Prior experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Unity, Cmock, Google Test) is advantageous.
- Interest in modern development tools and the use of artificial intelligence in software engineering.
- A structured work style and the ability to quickly grasp complex relationships.
- Fluent in German or English.
