Industry Manager, Agencies and Partners (Fixed Term Contract)

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in digital advertising (e.g., branding and performance), consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
- Experience in managing partner organizations (e.g., agencies, sell side partners).
- Ability to communicate English and German fluently in to engage with clients in the region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives, and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with Google Ads solutions, expertise in video advertising (e.g., AI-powered performance and video, CTV), and understanding of competitor landscape across traditional and digital media advertising.
- Ability to sell/propose creative technologies across a landscape of various decision makers.
- Ability to develop joint business plans in complex, ambiguous environments, influence/collaborate across organizations, and drive business success for the customer and Google.
- Strong strategic and tactical thinking skills, systems thinking, and the ability to align strategies to deliver customer business outcomes.

As an Industry Manager for Agencies and Partners, you will build and cultivate strong business partnerships with one of our agency network partners and/or independent media agency partners to support their customers' success in their Google advertising investments. Your objective will be to work collaboratively as part of your team to jointly drive media business growth, enable transformation, and be responsive to all agency needs. You will build relationships with relevant agency stakeholders and drive growth across the Google product portfolio through agreements (e.g., specialized key performance based incentives), joint business plans, and media, data and tech initiatives that are focused on driving a transformational agenda against media strategy and planning, buying, and optimization. You will work closely with multiple Google sales teams to exchange knowledge regarding your partner and client needs and develop scaled training opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Engage and influence key decision-makers, including C-suite executives, building trusted relationships to understand their core business challenges and strategic priorities.
- Lead the development of joint business plans, aligning with customers on ambitious goals and establishing shared accountability to unlock transformative growth opportunities.
- Design and pitch powerful, data-driven Google solutions tailored to customer needs, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Google’s advertising offerings and compelling storytelling, while effectively navigating objections to secure investment and exceed business growth goals.
- Demonstrate Google's value clearly by measuring campaign results against customer objectives and competitors' offerings, and sharing data-driven insights that shape customer strategies and reinforce the partnership.
- Own the customer's growth trajectory by proactively identifying and cultivating a robust pipeline of new opportunities, leveraging insights and proven success to expand the partnership.
