Global Mobility Specialist (f/m/d)

Global Mobility Specialist for the Grid Technology Solutions business, being the focal point between the Delegation Office, Projects, Regional Units, Global Mobility providers, HR Global Mobility and external stakeholders in order to assure compliant on time delegations with an excellent commercial result and employee satisfaction. The role is responsible for Global Mobility topics within the GT SO HV organisation.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end delegation process for employees assigned to construction sites worldwide, including assignment extensions and modifications.
- Ensure compliance with immigration, social security, taxation, travel security, and equal pay regulations for international assignments.
- Obtain and manage country-specific visa, work permit, and project requirements, including preparation and submission of all necessary documentation.
- Organize assignment logistics, including travel arrangements, medical examinations, and travel expense administration in accordance with local regulations.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees before, during, and after international assignments, including onboarding on delegation-related topics.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Resource Managers and Delegation Centers, while maintaining accurate assignment data and ensuring timely deployment of travelers.
What You Bring
- Completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g. industrial clerk or equivalent) combined with relevant professional experience.
- Long-term experience in Global Mobility, employee secondments, or international assignment management, with strong expertise in travel and immigration-related processes.
- Solid understanding of international mobility regulations, including visa and work permit procedures, travel management, and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with relevant systems such as BTAT, SAP Concur, EDM, and AI-supported tools such as Microsoft Copilot is advantageous.
- Business-fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, combined with excellent communication, stakeholder management, teamwork, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities, as well as a strong customer-focused mindset.
