As Chapter Lead HR Data Platform and Reporting (f/m/d), you will lead a team of specialists responsible for Siemens Energy's strategic central HR master data platform, HR Data Hub, data quality engineering capabilities, local German reporting, and the central HR reporting landscape. You will steer and drive the roadmaps for homegrown HR data and reporting applications that are critical for reliable master data, trusted workforce reporting, and data-driven HR decision-making. The role combines people leadership, deep IT and data platform understanding, application ownership, product roadmap management, stakeholder partnering, data governance, operational excellence, and transformation delivery across a complex global HR technology landscape.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Steer the strategy, roadmap, and operational ownership of the HR Data Hub, ensuring it serves as the central HR master data platform for Siemens Energy with reliable and standardized data products.
- Drive the HR realted global Reporting by providing consultancy to the Business stakeholders and Support the internal Team with feedback and Innovations.
- Lead the development of data quality engineering capabilities for HR master data, emphasizing rules, validation logic, monitoring concepts, and continuous improvement measures.
- Translate business data quality requirements into scalable technical designs and reusable engineering patterns across the HR Data Hub and related reporting applications.
- Partner with HR process owners and technical teams to enhance data completeness, accuracy, and consistency, while establishing transparent escalation and remediation processes for cross-system HR master data issues.
- Steer the modernization of local German HR reporting solutions and the central HR reporting landscape, ensuring reliable delivery for operational, management, and regulatory reporting needs.
- Provide strong technical leadership for homegrown HR data and reporting applications, ensuring secure and compliant operations in alignment with IT architecture and cybersecurity standards.
What You Bring
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Longstanding experience in IT application management, data platform ownership, HR technology, reporting solutions, or digital product leadership.
- Proven experience managing business-critical, homegrown applications or data platforms in complex international environments.
- Strong experience with HR master data, data integration, data quality, reporting, analytics, or workforce reporting landscapes is highly desirable.
- Hands-on understanding of cloud-based data platforms, Snowflake or comparable data technologies, ETL/ELT concepts, APIs, data products, and modern software delivery practices is a strong advantage.
- Fluency in both German and English together with experience leading international teams, virtual organizations, or chapters in an agile, product-oriented, or platform engineering environment.
- Proven track record of stakeholder management, business partnering, roadmap steering, vendor governance, and transformation delivery at senior levels.
