How you'll make an impact

• In your role you are part of an international team with diverse backgrounds, utilizing future software architecture.
• The technical leadership of international teams is part of your daily work.
• By doing so you support the full application lifecycle starting with first ideation workshops over successful prototypes until the go live of a commercial application.
• Furthermore, you drive pragmatic approaches to solve complex architectural problems by utilizing future proof architecture for complex legacy and new software.
• You collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify innovative solutions for complex software challenges and ensure alignment with customer goals and business objectives.
• You utilize your expertise in cloud solution architecture to design and implement scalable solutions that drive productivity and efficiency in development and operational environments.

Your defining qualities

• Education
  • You have a strong academic background with a Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Physics.
• Experience & Skills
  • You bring many years of professional experience in agile team management including remote teams (diverse backgrounds welcome, e.g., industry, consultancy, academia) combined with strong experience in cloud solution architecture, software development & engineering and knowledge in gitlab and CI/CD.
  • Excellent technical understanding and software modeling skills.
  • Additionally, you are proficient in handling large datasets with various tools, with hands-on experience in setting up databases, and skilled in a wide range of programming languages, including C#, Python, SQL, Terraform, Java, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in overseeing all aspects of software development performance including establishing KPI's, metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes. A Senior software architect certification is a plus.
