About the position:
In this role you will lead a technology program that will focus on building and harnessing next generation capabilities in the field of computational process development and process analytical technology for Takeda Technical Operations and specifically for the PDTS team.
The main objectives are:
Leading a cutting edge technology program in the field of computational process development and process analytical technology
Championing and spearheading Quality by Design principles, value-creating applications of process analytical technology and computational process development methods.
Supporting computational process development and process analytical technology activities within pipeline programs or innovation initiatives
Investigating “the possible” to develop visions and strategies to introduce advanced and emerging technologies
Engaging with the World Around to establish and maintain strategic partnerships
Conducting in-silico and laboratory experiments to engineer and implement lab and pilot-scale platforms
Analyzing process and product data to optimize control loops, process parameters and process economics
Keeping abreast of technological advances and developing and applying new techniques and methods where appropriate
Participating in cross-functional project teams, and work closely with experts in Research and Non-clinical, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to ensure alignment, program accelleration and overall success.
Skills you need:
Technical Master’s Degree with at least 8 years of relevant industry experience
Hands-on technical experience and profound, inter-disciplinary Expertise in the Fields of Biopharmaceutical Process Engineering and advanced Automation would be ideal
Ability to effectively partner with diverse team members from various functions, and members at various levels in the organization
Ideally, pprofound expertise in the fields of Computational Process Development & Simulation, Biopharmaceutical Process Engineering, Automation, Advanced Process Analytics & Control and Digitalization
Ability to balance strategic awareness and direction setting with consistent tactical results
A high level of business acumen and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
