Working Student – Project Manager Support – “trivago Discover”

Are you a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with an interest in travel? Want to be part of a new product team with a chance to inspire our users through exciting, unique travel experiences?

Our Collection Team is looking for a dynamic team-player with healthy mix of creativity, analytical thinking and pragmatism to help gather content for “trivago Discover” – our new travel companion product.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the project owner on delivery of relevant initiatives primarily focused on content collection and curation.
  • Third-party engagement – we have a vast array of partners with whom you will build relationships.
  • Quality assurance of incoming content from our partners.
  • Ideation on content sources – where could we go next to get unique, engaging content for our products?

What you’ll definitely need:

  • To be enrolled at a university in the Düsseldorf area.
  • To have lived in the UK or have a real passion about the UK – the initial focus market of “trivago Discover”.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail – we need to ensure a high quality content base for our products.
  • Good time-management skills with ability to multi-task.
  • A positive attitude and the eagerness to work in a lively, multicultural environment.
  • The ability to work 20 hours a week for at least 6 months.
  • To speak fluent English (our company language).

 What we’d love you to have:

  • First work experience or an educational background in a technical field.
  • Experience in automating repetitive processes with software applications.
