Signature Success, ECS Account Executive - German language required
The Salesforce Success Plan Sales team is seeking an outstanding seller to join our EMEA team. The Signature Success, ECS Account Executive is responsible for growing and managing subsets within the Enterprise and Commercial Parent accounts. The successful candidate will support our EMEA business in positioning and selling our Signature Success Plan to our customers. The Signature bundle of Success Manager, Mission Critical Support, and Proactive Monitoring are used to deliver Salesforce's most proactive and personalized support experience. Your role includes partnering with our Strategic Account Executives to evangelize the Salesforce vision and account strategy. You will work closely with current and prospective customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals. The Signature Success, ECS Account Executive will be encouraged to scope opportunities and position the value proposition for Signature with internal and external customers. This individual will ensure our most meaningful customers invest in the appropriate support offering and resource mix. This is a sales role, and the primary measurement of success will be target attainment along with YoY growth in Signature revenue.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed targets for Signature Success plans across bookings, attach, upgrades, and conversions.
- Territory/Vertical identification and research to formalize a go-to-market strategy and build qualified target accounts.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement within the designated market sector(s).
- Coordinate and manage industry events and user groups to generate market interest.
- Use your solution selling expertise to respond optimally to customer needs and identify business potential in order to build strategic, long-term partnership with your customers.
- Manage the sales cycle from business champion to C Level.
- Manage and close sophisticated sales cycles and demonstrate ownership of all aspects of territory management.
- Build relationships with relevant internal partners to review territories and identify strategies and opportunities to attach Signature Success plans.
- Evangelize Signature Success internally and externally. Act as subject matter expert for Success Cloud products.
- Collaborate effectively with other parts of the organization, including, but not limited to: License Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Marketing, Sales Operations, Pricing Deal Desk, Legal, Product Management, and Delivery to address and resolve customer or sales issues.
- Travel up to 20%
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability in Sales, Marketing, or Services (consulting sales, technical sales, or support sales) required.
- Degree or equivalent proven experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
- Proven experience in quota-carrying software or technology sales and account management experience.
- CRM or Marketing automation application experience: Salesforce or ExactTarget product experience a plus
- Demonstrated track record of self-starting, risk-taking, and ability to influence without authority
- Excellent relationship-building skills with a proven track record of growing and nurturing relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. English proficiency required
- Outstanding presentation skills are required including the ability to adapt style based on the audience and present sophisticated ideas.
- Fluent in both German and English language
