(Senior) Test Infrastructure Engineer - Integrations Sites (m/f/d)

YOUR TEAM

The CARIAD Integration Test Center (TI-3) is responsible for the development of the test concepts, test infrastructure, and operations to ensure validated software releases for usage in vehicle projects of all Volkswagen brands.

The department "Test Operations" (TI-33) as part of TI-3 has the responsibility to ensure highly efficient test operations for all solution trains testing on all infrastructure levels (HIL simulators, lab cars, integration vehicles) as well as on-site integration including plant support. A very important focus of TI-33 is the validation of platform functions to ensure efficient integration of customer functions. We are looking for new colleagues who are experienced in state-of-the-art vehicle testing and are eager to build a powerful team to support the development of the leading automotive tech stack.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Execute all required testing activities for the validation of CARIAD platform functions
• Focus on selected area of platform validation such as (e.g., diagnosis, security, robustness, flash testing, network management)
• Testing of platform functions according to the integration sprints defined by the solution trains and brands using state-of-the-art infrastructure
• Maximize use of test automation
• Drive root cause analysis in case of development issues in cooperation with all internal and external development partners
• Drive failure management processes to resolve detected issues and defend findings in program meetings
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation

WHO YOU ARE

• Academic or professional education is required
• More than 2 years of professional experience in automotive testing
• More than 2 years of professional experience in automotive architectures
• Innovative and courageous thinking in order to define and implement cutting-edge technology solutions
• Strong language proficiency in English and German (oral and written)
