As a part of our Global Strategic Marketing team, you will play a key role in building a Competitive Intelligence Network and Platform, identifying, and evaluating our competitors' performance and strategies. You will consult our Senior Management in all aspects of Competitive Intelligence to support them in pro-actively managing competitive threats and opportunities.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • This role is responsible for driving global competitive intelligence insights activities, delivering actionable insights and recommendation to the BIAH leadership teams i.e. BMD, ExCom, GSM, GCB, Finance, and other key functions.
  • You will support the decisions of key Leadership teams through competitive insights based on a sound competitive intelligence mapping.
  • You will lead and execute competitive intelligence assessments / activities and delivery in terms of quality and timelines to ensure that budget and business partners expectations are met.
  • You will deploy a systematic approach in order to pre-empt / anticipate future moves, making key insights available to the key business partners by establishing a Competitive Intelligence Platform to systematically monitor, track and report competitor activities incl. an alert system.


  • Multiple years of experience in competitive intelligence in the pharmaceutical, veterinary, fast moving consumer goods or consultancy industry
  • Master level degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Economics, Statistics, or Life Sciences
  • Long-term professional experience in this area of activities considering the operating model with a lean team for a larger organization
  • Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with strong networking capabilities
  • Excellent command of the English language is required (written and spoken); additional languages would be an asset (e.g. French)
