Release Train Engineer (f/m/d)
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will be a servant leader and facilitator who helps Agile Release Trains (ARTs) deliver value using the SAFe methodology. You will manage and track ART progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and quality using MS Azure DevOps. You will collaborate with Product Management to ensure that PI Objectives are aligned with business objectives and expectations, fitting seamlessly into the overall Release Train. Resolving conflicts and impediments that may arise within or across Agile teams will be part of your daily activities.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead and facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes, adhering to SAFe core principles.
- Oversee integration into ART management, project management, and Value Stream monitoring.
- Drive relentless business improvement projects related to Azure DevOps in the SAFe framework, including integration with engineering and factory operations.
- Conduct business and quality analysis to optimize ART performance.
- Continuously improve team and ART processes for enhanced delivery.
- Engage with stakeholders and manage escalations effectively.
- Document processes and generate reports to ensure transparency and alignment.
What You Bring
- 6-10 years of total IT experience in a related field with 2-5 years of relevant Scrum Master or Project Manager Experience.
- Proven experience in IT Project Management, Project Delivery Management, Requirement Gathering & Analysis, Stakeholder Engagements, Operations Monitoring, Escalation Management, Team Building & Leadership, Training and Support, Reporting & Process Documentation
- SAFe expert knowledge / RTE or SPC
- Strong interpersonal skills, leadership and planning
- Fluency in German and English languages
