PMT Tool Engineer - Reporting Plattform (f/m/d)

YOUR TEAM

The department of process, methods and tool development (PMT) ensures efficient working methods and tool chains for the whole CARIAD organization. Our team's responsibility is to provide basis for automated and integrated reporting and advanced analytics company-wide, connecting different data sources and providing a business savvy reporting and self-service analytics platform.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design and build the underlying infrastructure of a self-serving data platform, influence data design and engineering across the team, enabling the creation and operation of these assets
• Design, build, maintain the distributed data processing technology to be used across teams
• Coordinate, design and optimize the technical Data Mesh architecture an infrastructure in the domain of Measurement Data and Data Processing
• Creation of custom tools and scripts to automate various business processes
• Guide other team members with their work while doing the hands-on work

WHO YOU ARE

• Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science or comparable studies
• Collaborate with experienced Data Engineers to designing, deliver and implement technology solutions into cloud platforms (e.g. Azure) to build big data solutions
• You are familiar in software developing with data platorms (e.g. DWH, Data Connectors)
• You enjoy exploring infrastructure of cloud-based solutions (e.g. Azure, AWS), in modern DWH technologies (e.g. Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift/Snowflake)
• Work in agile software development, ideally lean agile methods (SAFe, LeSS)
• Hands-on expertise in programming language (e.g. Python) and source code management
• Fluent English language skills (both verbal and written)
