Laboratory Head ADME Large Molecules - all genders

About the job

Main responsibilities:

• Scouting for new technologies in the field of in vitro ADME, receptor interaction (endo-/transcytosis, transport) especially with view to large molecules ADME/PK liabilities
• Communicate and interpret assay and study results to guide research projects locally and globally towards project transition up to clinical development.
• Lead and motivate in vitro research lab team, develop, apply new cellbased assas and implement new methods and technologies.
• Collaborate with molecular modelling function in research and development and improvement of in silico ADME models and their predictive quality
• Securing and maintenance of internal and external quality and safety standards (especially HSE regulations and genetic engineering).

About you

• University degree in biology or related science with a PhD degree or proven record of similar level of experience
• state-of-the-art knowledge of in vitro cell-biology, imaging, immunology, receptor interactions, immunogenicity, IVIV
• Basic, general ADME/DMPK skills preferred.
• Knowledge and experiences in general lab-safety ("Projektleiter Gentechnik") and biosafety regulatory requirements
• Ability to work, inspire and lead global teams, intercultural and cross functional competencies. High accessibility to all hierarchy levels
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and self- and team-motivating behavior
• German and English: fluent in speaking, reading, writing
