Head of General Site Management (f/m/d)
A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Head of General Site Management within the Site Management organization you will be at the forefront of managing and directing an international team of Site Project Managers, Construction Managers and Chief Technical Field Advisors responsible for the successful on-site execution of projects around the globe. This role involves overviewing all site management activities beginning from site hand over until final hand over to the costumer, ensuring adherence to our strict Zero Harm philosophy, technical specifications and contract requirements. You will play a pivotal role in representing the Site Execution organization in all matters, fostering innovation, and leading your team to achieve exceptional results in delivery of HVDC-, Grid Access-, FACTS-, Power Plant- and Hydrogen Projects. You will be in continuous dialog with the site leads, supporting them to overcome any challenges during site execution.

- Direct the site management team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement in project execution
- Foster a unified team spirit within a culturally diverse team, promoting collaboration and professional growth across global locations
- Driving innovation in site execution processes; Championing organizational change to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Close liaison with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage resource planning, recruitment, assignment, and development of site leads to sustain long-term project success and team motivation
- You will be involved in setting-up procedures and regulations for a professional execution of project construction sites
What You Bring
- A strategic leader with a proven track record in site- and project management for complex industrial EPC projects, demonstrating a keen interest in leadership, people development, and communication skills
- An experienced professional in building networks and articulating your vision across different levels
- An innovator who adopts new insights and cultivates a culture of diversity and courageous thinking
- A committed leader who believes in empowering employees, knowing that well-trained teams are the cornerstone of client satisfaction
- Ability to work effectively in international teams, with sensitivity to cultural differences
- Fluency in English is required, along with a willingness to engage in international travel
