Digital Media Coordinator*

Department: PR & Internal Communication, fulltime (39 h/week), permanent, based in Bensheim, starting on December 2021

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of English-speaking media outlets i.e. websites, newsletter, social media channels in line with CBM’s brand positioning and communication strategy
  • Research, selection and writing of relevant content
  • Management of content for social media and support in creating a social media strategy
  • Close liasion with local and international colleagues  to identify relevant content and synergy points on communications
  • Handling of communications request from colleagues globally
  • Support to global events through the creation and implementation of ad hoc online dissemination strategies
  • Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders and external vendors

Qualifications and Requirements

  • University degree in communication or the humanities
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of online/social media principles and engagement
  • Experience in website content management, preferably Typo3, knowledge in SEO and Analytics advantageous
  • Familiar with editing texts in English for different target groups and with a strong eye for design and webpage layouts
  • Ability to strategically integrate content across different media channels
  • Min. 3-5 years of experience in international communications is required
  • Professional proficiency in English, advanced German language skills and additional languages (French, Spanish) desirable
  • Intercultural competence, knowledge of international development cooperation and willingness to travel occasionally to project countries
  • Identification with Christian values and the mandate of CBM
