What part will you play?
In your new role, you:
- Execute after sales support for our global customers regarding Protection portfolio.
- Interact with customers and Siemens regional companies to understand their demands and collect respective information needed for clarification of technical issues.
- Troubleshoot failure scenarios to identify the root cause of the behavior and propose feasible solutions.
- Collaborate with your peers within Global Customer Care, R&D, Sales, PLM functions to ensure smooth customer interactions and case resolution.
- Support in developing solutions for customers using AI technologies.
- Participate in knowledge exchange within the customer support team and with experts.
- Achieve performance targets and support Global Customer Care to improve customer satisfaction.
What you need to make real what matters.
- The basis of your success is a completed bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
- You understand electrical engineering principles, power systems and protection schemes.
- You have several years of professional experience in configuration, testing and commissioning of protection devices, especially transformer, generator, busbar and line protection.
- You demonstrate experience in communication of protection devices via standard protocols as IEC 61850, including process bus technology.
- Basic knowledge in software programming (for example: Python, C++, xml, Visual Studio Code) would be an advantage.
- You have a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, a convincing manner, and a winning personality.
- You are ready to take on responsibility and address topics independently as well as reliably driving them forward and adapt to change.
- You have deep problem-solving skills with high attention to details.
- The ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures and backgrounds, is key to your success.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is required and German would be a plus.
