Quality Specialist Medical Devices (f/m/d), Schaftenau, Austria

We need you at our site in Schaftenau (Austria) - locates in the heart of the beautiful Tyorlean Alps and one of the most modern biotech sites in the country, providing the best environment for your career.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure Quality expertise to support the development of drug-device combination products (e.g. prefilled syringes, autoinjectors, injection pens) and medical devices
• Ensure that all incoming Novartis products are inspected prior to release to the market in accordance with the current in place procedures, with registered specifications and with local/international regulations
• Plan, coordinate and conduct batch release preparation activities
• Support of the qualified person(s) in the release testing of medical devices and combination products
• Compilation and review of documents from databases
• Contacts/exchange of information with national and international functions (CPO QA, QA responsible persons in the countries, manufacturing sites)
• Creation/updating of work instructions (SOPs)
• Support in maintaining and updating local databases

Minimum Requirements

What you'll bring to the role:
• Scientific background (PTA, BSc in pharmacy or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Confident handling of MS Office and Quality IT Tools and Databases (e.g. SAP, TrackWise)
• Independent worker, how can organize the workflow and workload independent of environmental impacts
• Ability to work in a team, initiative and organizational skills
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

Desirable requirements:
• first experience in how to serve patients
• good communication skills

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 49.804,58/year (on a full time basis). We also offer a potential market oriented excess payment in line with your experience and qualifications.
