We are looking for a creative and proactive project officer to support the successful standardization of our organization-wide processes, systems, and technologies and other internal change initiatives according to the organization’s needs. We are looking for a person familiar with conducting training and facilitating workshops, assisting in the management of project plans, timelines and playing a key role in communicating with different stakeholders. This role is also the focal point for Objectives & Key Results (OKR) in the organisation and is embedded in the Change & Project Management team which is responsible for managing and implementing change initiatives within the organisation, with a focus on improving organisational processes and driving operational efficiency.
Your tasks
- You support with design and management of project plans and timelines of internal strategies and change initiatives that make the organization fit for the future and are aligned with the needs of the organization.
- You are responsible for facilitating the Objectives & Key Results (OKR) review, offering guidance to OKR coaches and further develop the methodology.
- You coordinate and support OKR workshops.
- You contribute to the standardization of internal processes including the definition of process frameworks, roles, and responsibilities, capacity strengthening plans and standards for documentation.
- You collaborate closely with all internal and external stakeholders.
- You design and conduct staff training on different change topics.
- You produce communication materials and create creative concepts for the communication of change initiatives in alignment with the team.
- You produce supporting documentation for all projects that the team works on.
Your profile
- You already gathered experience in project management, change management, process management, or related fields. You have experience using project management tools and software to track progress and report on project status e.g. Monday.com.
- You have a diploma in project management, organisational studies, or related studies with a project or change management focus. Relevant certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Change Management Certification, are of advantage.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure the project stays on track and achieves its objectives.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills for effectively communicating and collaborating with stakeholders, team members, and senior management.
- You describe yourself as being creative, innovative, a proactive personality, strongly motivated, solution-oriented, and priding yourself on having excellent organisational skills.
- You have excellent English skills. Other languages, e.g. German, French or Portuguese are an asset.
- You are interested in development cooperation and Light for the World‘s mandate area.
