About the role:

The Finance Business Partner plays a crucial role in Takeda by performing budgeting, forecasting, analysis and thought-partnering, thus supporting operational and strategic decisions. He/She utilizes both quantitative and qualitative analysis of operational and financial aspects in order to evaluate the company’s progress toward achieving its goals and business acumen to both identify and leverage opportunities and mitigate risks in collaboration with the business units. The finance business partner considers economic and business trends, reviews company performance vs. benchmarks, forecasts and co-shapes the company’s future financial results.

How you will contribute:

  • Report and analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and performance drivers to evaluate and address implications for the future performance

  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and keep sales/OpEx forecasts up to date

  • Close partnering with management team and business units to identify key risks and opportunities, come up with realization plans and mitigation strategies, and reflect all in financial forecasting

  • Discuss monthly and quarterly financial results with LOC units and departments, focusing on understanding and shaping full year landing

  • Implement meaningful business intelligence tools and dashboard reports, leverage them for finance business partnering discussions

  • Support management team and the Heads of Department with data-driven analyses and thought partneringOversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting and Reporting tools in collaboration/alignment with regional finance and the finance business partner community

  • Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, pricing, new products rollouts as well as new projects; continuously develop business acumen to understand success drivers and interdependencies

  • Take an active role in the FP&A community, connect with peers across the organization and together co-create solutions in line with and supporting the finance vision and roadmap

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA highly preferred

  • 5+ years' experience in Financial Planning and Analysis desired

  • Passion and Drive required. Experience in multinational Pharma preferred

  • Willingness to work agile and with growth mindset

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI skills, SAP knowledge is a huge advantage

  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized with ability to see the big picture and dive deep into detailsArticulate with excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated

  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity

    A competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of € 5.085,71 gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry) - the actual salary depends on your professional experience and qualifications!
